Thriller, którego akcja rozgrywa się w Belgradzie, Chicago i Kosowie, opowiada o skomplikowanej relacji i ponownym spotkaniu skłóconych braci, Alexa i Petera, a także o zakazanej miłości serbskiego żołnierza i młodej muzułmanki. Alex, wierząc, że jego ojciec jest u progu śmierci, wyrusza z Serbii do Chicago, aby znaleźć swojego brata Petera i uratować umierającego ojca. Z pomocą amerykańskiego agenta CIA Alex odnajduje swojego brata w Chicago.
