Roger Lent pracował w tym samym banku od ponad dwudziestu lat. Omija go awans, a jego żona nie jest szczęśliwa, bo chce dobrego życia. Rodzinę ledwo stać na członkostwo w Copper Canyon Country Club, a wszyscy inni mają te ładne rezydencje. Szef Rogera mówi mu, że aby uzyskać awans, musi zarobić więcej dla banku.
